Nahant Garden Club

Our mission is to create and stimulate a greater interest in gardening, horticulture, floral design, conservation of natural resources, and civic beautification.

We strive to accomplish this mission by:

1. Seasonally decorating planters and traffic islands across town;
2. Maintaining a lilac grove in the Nahant Cemetery and a garden at Sears Pavilion;
3. Honoring Arbor Day recipients with a tree planted in town;
4. Offering a scholarship to an aspiring Nahant student;
5. Creating holiday and Memorial Wreaths;
6. Supporting a Junior Gardening Program at the Johnson School; and
7. Offering ongoing education in floral decoration, native plants, conservation and other topics through demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and field trips.
