Special Town Meeting – October 20, 2026
The Town will be having a Special Town Meeting on Tuesday October 20, 2026 beginning at 6:30pm at the Nahant Town Hall, 334 Nahant, Road.
The meeting will be streamed to local T.V. Channels – Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 45.
The meeting will not be on ZOOM. You must be in person in order to vote and/or participate in the meeting.

What’s on the Special Town Meeting Warrant?
Residents will be asked to vote on a single Warrant Article related to Phase 4 of the Library renovations.
ARTICLE 1. (Library Restoration) To see if the Town will vote to raise and/or appropriate from available funds in the treasury, or transfer from available funds, a sum not to exceed $1,000,000 for the restoration and rehabilitation of the library, including fire safety, plumbing, electrical and HVAC upgrades, as well as interior refurbishment, including the payment of all incidental or related costs, or take any other action relative thereto.
