Short Term Rental Draft Rules and Regulations – Public Comment Period

The Town of Nahant and Board of Selectmen opened up a public comment period for the draft Short Term Rental Rules and Regulations. That public comment period ended on September 06, 2024.

The Board of Selectmen have now opened up a Public Comment Period for the fees associated with operating a Short Term Rental in Town.

After all public comments on the fees have been submitted, the Board will review and vote on both the fees and the rules and regulations at a future meeting. Those fees will then be added to our Town’s Master Fee Schedule.

The Short Term Rental Committee was Voted on ATM 5/16/2021 – dissolve on 6/30/2024 or upon completion of Tasks, 

The consists of  Five (5) members; 3 year committee term

One(1) Building Inspector

One(1) Health Agent

One(1)Planning Board Member

Two(2) Town Administrator appointed citizens- 2 citizens
