Nahant Women’s Club

Founded in 1895 as the Nahant Woman’s Club, the NWCNS was renamed to acknowledge our reach beyond Nahant’s borders. We are a non-profit organization which promotes friendships among women with an interest in working together and partnering with like-minded organizations to help women, children, and families in need and to help support local Arts. We have additional interests in fostering environmental responsibility and the humane treatment of animals.

Membership is open to any woman with an interest in our mission. Members are typically residents of Boston’s North Shore although this is not a requirement. 

We fund two scholarships for local graduating seniors and contribute to local organizations such as HAWC in Salem, Lynn Family and Children’s Services, Girls, Inc., and charitable initiatives at North Shore Community College and Montserrat College of Art.  Our biggest fundraiser is the popular Nahant Holiday Crafts Fair held the Saturday after Thanksgiving in Nahant since 2000.
