SAIL BOSTON – TALL SHIPS 2026

The Tall Ships are returning to Boston Harbor for Sail Boston – July 11-16, 2026!! The Town is geared up to welcome the ships into the Boston Harbor!

Please join us to view the ships anchored of the coast of Nahant with a party at the Wharf!

When: July 10, 2026 3:00pm – 9:00pm
Where: Nahant Town Wharf

Live music by the “All Stars” from 6-9pm. Ice Cream Truck, Food Truck, and more!!!

Details

This is a pedestrian event only.

  • No motorized scooters/ebikes – Please leave bicycles, etc. at the bike racks provided in Marjoram Park
  • No backpacks/coolers – Bags are subject to search
  • No alcohol – Purchase of alcohol requires a wrist band and stamp, which can be obtained at a table near the Bent Water beer truck.  In addition, alcohol vendors may request identification.
  • Event musicians, vendors, and staff will be identified with tags.
  • The Nahant Sailing Program will be offering rides on their sailboats to take the public out for 30 minute rides to view the Tall Ships. Boats will depart from the Wharf and rides will be offered from 3:00pm-8:00pm. There will be a sign-up sheet beginning at 2:30pm on July 10th at the Wharf. There will not be any future reservations.

Parking

Event musicians, vendors, and staff will be identified with tags.

  • Free event parking is available for visitors in the Johnson School parking lot, The Nahant Country Club lot and the St. Thomas Church parking lot. The Council on Aging van and the School bus will do loops around Town to pick people up from the 3 lots. There is no set schedule for when the vans will start running but there will be signs at each lot.
  • Handicap parking will be set aside near Marjoram Park. Signs will be posted.
  • Please enjoy the event responsibly and give our guests a warm Nahant welcome.

Before the ships make their way into Boston Harbor, some of them will be anchored off the coast of Nahant which will give residents and the public up close views and Instagram worthy photo ops.
