Pursuant to the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 5, notice is hereby given that the Nahant Planning Board will hold a hybrid public hearing on Tuesday, SEPTEMBER 23, 2025, via Zoom and in Conference Room #2, Nahant Town Hall, starting at 7:00pm. The Planning Board will address its proposal to amend the Nahant Zoning By-Law to add Section 16: Multi-family Overlay District. The purpose of this amendment is to comply with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 3A (MBTA Community; Multi-Family Housing).

A copy of the proposed amendment is posted on nahant.org and is available for inspection in the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours.

Comments (to be read during the hearing) may be sent to the Planning Board Chair – Sheila Hambleton – prior to the hearing at planningchair@nahant.org.
