Town of Nahant-Board of Selectmen- Notice of Public Hearing
The Nahant Board of Selectmen will be holding a public hearing on Wednesday March 06, 2024 at 6:30pm via Zoom and local broadcasting on a petition received from Massachusetts Electric Company D/B/A National Grid and Verizon New England, Inc requests permission to locate poles, wires, and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, along and across the following public way: Ward Rd. – National Grid to install 1 (one) JO Pole on Ward Road beginning at a point approximately 246 feet south of the centerline of the intersection of Ward Road and Castle Way and continuing approximately 10 feet in a west direction. National Grid is petitioning on behalf of Nahant Pump Station to install a new JO pole #3-5 where it is going to be fee the new upgrade of the existing secondary underground service (actually is being fed from Pole #4).
