3. Compost Area Open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9AM-3PM. 2023 Resident Parking Sticker Required. Visit the Public Works page at nahant.org for a full list of acceptable material.
4. Recycling for metal/white goods/tv/computers: Last day of this season will be October 28^th from 8:00am-12pm behind the DPW Garage on Flash Rd. 2023 Resident sticker required. Visit the Public Works department at nahant.org for accepted material. Certain fees may apply
5. Curbside Leaf pick up begins in October on every Monday (except Columbus Day). The week of Columbus Day bags will be picked up Tuesday October 11^th. Leaves must be in biodegradable bags ONLY. No open barrels, roots, root balls or branches bigger than 4” in diameter. Bags must be out by 7AM.
6. Water/Sewer, Trash bills due October 23, 2023. Please call the Treasurer/Collectors office with any questions.
7. Annual Charitable Cornhole Tournament hosted by the Nahant Firefigthers Assoc. 2718 is Sunday October 8, 2023 starting at 1:00pm at Flash Rd. Park.
8. Town Hall will be closed Monday October 9, 2023 in observance of Columbus Day.
9. Flu Vaccine Clinic for Nahant Residents and Employees: Wednesday October 11, 2023 at Nahant Town Hall. High Dose Clinic 11am-1pm Regular Dose Clinic 2pm-4pm. Registration is required. Visit the community calendar at nahant.org for registration information.
10. Market by the Sea (formerly Nahant Farmers Market): Saturdays 10AM-1PM at Flash Road October 14^th. For more information or to become a vendor visit the market page at nahant.org or email
