3. Annual Town Election: Saturday April 27, 2024. Polls open from 7am-8pm. Nomination papers are now available at the Town Clerk’s office and due back by March 08, 2024. For a list of open seats visit the Town Clerk’s page at nahant.org
4. Annual Town Meeting: Saturday May 18, 2024 at 12:30pm – Nahant Town Hall. Warrant with articles to be posted soon.
5. Annual Dog Licenses due back to Town Clerk by April 1, 2024. A $20 late fee will be added for any licenses received after April 15, 2024.
6. Water/Sewer/Trash Bills due March 11, 2024. Contact the Treasurer/Collectors office with any questions.
7. Winter Parking Ban: in effect until March 20, 2024 from 12AM-6AM. No vehicles on the street during this time. If you need a winter parking sticker contact the Nahant Police Station.
8. Parking Stickers: 2024 Parking Stickers will be available for purchase at nahant.org starting March 15, 2024.
9. Scholarships: Charles Kelley Scholarship Applications due back by April 12, 2024. For application and more information about local scholarships visit the scholarship page at nahant.org

National Grid Public Hearing – Petition from Massachusetts Electric Company D/B/A, National Grid and Verizon New England Inc. requests permission to locate poles, wires, and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, along and across the following public way: Ward Rd. – National Grid to install 1 (one) JO Pole on Ward Road beginning at a point approximately 246 feet south of the centerline of the intersection of Ward Road and Castle Way and continuing approximately 10 feet in a west direction. National Grid is petitioning on behalf of Nahant Pump Station to install a new JO pole #3-5 where it is going to be fee the new upgrade of the existing secondary underground service (actually is being fed from Pole #4).
