a. Metal/White Good/TV/Computer Recycling: Last Saturday of each month until October from 8am -12pm behind the DPW Garage. Resident parking sticker required. Certain fees may apply. Visit nahant.org for a full list of accepted material.
b. Compost Area Open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9AM-3PM. 2024 Resident Parking Sticker Required. Visit the Public Works page at nahant.org for a full list of acceptable material.
c. Fall Leaf Pick up will begin in on October 7th – some Mondays pick-ups will be moved to Tuesday’s due to Monday holidays. Leaves must be in biodegradable bags and to the curb by 7am. Visit the community calendar at nahant.org for list of pick up dates and accepted material.
d. Vacant School Committee Seat – The Nahant School Committee currently has one vacancy. Send letters of interest to ktaylor@nahant.org and karras.patty@gmail.com by October 18, 2024.

f. Water/Sewer/Trash Bills have been sent out and due October 25, 2024.
g. Real Estate Tax Bills Bill’s to be mailed out on October 01, 2024 and will be due November 1, 2024.
