Annual Report Cover Contest

ENTER YOUR PHOTO OR DRAWING TO BE CHOSEN FOR THE 2023 ANNUAL REPORT COVER!

Each year the Town puts together an Annual Report book written by the Town’s Departments, Boards/Committees, Town Administrator and Board of Selectmen. The reports are an overview from the previous year containing financial information, significant accomplishments and events, election results, goals for the upcoming year, new members or employees, retirements and so forth. The books are handed out at Town Meeting and available at the Town Hall prior to.

Not only is it M.G.L (Massachusetts General Law) that we compile this book, it is also a great way to show residents and the public all of the important things the employees and volunteers have accomplishments throughout the year.

The 1953 Annual Report, which was the 101st Annual Report, was the first book to have a photo or drawing on the front cover. Before that the cover had the Town Seal. Since then there have been many different drawings and photos on the covers all with a special meaning or dedication.

This year for the 2023 Annual Report (which is also the 170th!!!) We thought it would be a fun idea to have a contest for residents to enter to be chosen to have their photograph or drawing chosen for the front cover!

All ages are welcome to enter and the submissions will be voted on anonymously.

To enter – fill out the application below and send in your submission as explained on the rules.

Submissions will be accepted until February 2, 2024.
