Town of Nahant Board of Selectmen – Public Hearing Notice

The Nahant Board of Selectmen will be holding a public hearing on Wednesday July 10, 2024 at 6:30pm via ZOOM and local broadcasting on a petition received from National Grid to be granted permission to excavate the public highways and to run and maintain underground electric conduits together with such sustaining and protecting fixtures as it may find necessary for the transmission of electricity, said underground conduits to be located substantially in accordance with the plan filed herewith marked: Willow Road – Nahant –Massachusetts.

The following streets and highways referred to: Plan #30903071 Willow Rd – National Grid to install beginning at the point approximately 350 feet southeasterly of the centerline of the intersection of Willow Rd @ Furbush Rd and continuing approximately 45 feet in a southwesterly direction. Installation of +/- 40’ PVC conduit from P #192 on Willow Rd to the property of #201 Willow Rd for upgrading the customer’s electrical service.
