Sumner Tunnel Closure Information

On July 5, 2023, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be closing the Sumner Tunnel/Route 1A South for 8 weeks until August 31, 2023 which will impact regional travel. However there are alternatives in place to help you plan your trip.
