JULY EVENTS
JULY 3RD (Rescheduled to July 7th)
HORRIBLES PARADE
NEW DATE: Friday July 7th
Start Time: 5:00PM: The annual Horribles Parade will start and form on Spring Road in front of the Basketball Courts. Dress up in 4th of July garb or anything else you like, decorate your bikes, stroller, ride on toys etc. and help ring in the Independence Day Holiday! All ages are welcome. The parade will march down Spring Road to Flash Road and end at the Flash Road Park (next to the Fire Station) with a dance party!
JULY 4TH:
TORTOISE AND THE HARE ROAD RACE:
Registration: 7:30AM Race Start: 8:00AM
Where: Race starts in front of the Fire Station/DPW on Flash Road
The Annual Tortoise and the Hare Road Race begins at 8:00AM (registration 7:30AM) with a 1 mile and 3 mile race through our beautiful town! Click below to view route race for each.
FIELD RACES (Rescheduled to Saturday July 8th)
NEW DATE: Saturday July 8th
Where: Soccer Fields Behind the Fire Station
When: 9:00AM
The annual July 4th field races will be held on the soccer fields behind the Fire Station. Participants will be split up by age group and events will include the 50 yard dash, egg toss, and three legged race! Get ready to run!
JULY 8TH
WHARF EVENT: 5:30PM-8:30PM
FIREWORKS: APPROX. 9:00PM
Join us for our Family Friendly Wharf Event to continue the Independence Day Celebrations and watch the annual Fireworks show! We welcome back the band Mojo Slim and food/slush/beverages will be sold by Bianco’s Sausage Company.
Fireworks will start at approximately 9:00PM from Bailey’s Hill.
Road Closures, Detours and parking bans will be in place throughout the area and will be posted here soon.

MARKET BY THE SEA (formerly Nahant Farmers Market)
When: July 15th, August 19th, September 16th and October 14th
Time: 10:00AM-1:00PM
Where: Flash Road Park
Our Market is back for another season! We welcome vendors or all kinds selling jewelry, art, food/beverage, honey, produce, homemade goods, community groups/outreach and so much more!
July and August Markets will have live music by local musicians Luke Conlin and Marc Mancini!!
Come down and enjoy a beautiful day at the park and shop around to our vendors!
