3:00 PM PUBLIC HEARING to correct a prior Zoning Board of Appeals Decision granted on October 18, 2023, for Paul and Robin Waters and Stephen Suida regarding 43 Pleasant Street, Nahant, Massachusetts, where the names in the decision were incorrect or incomplete. The decision will not change but requires a vote to correct the names.
3:10 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING on the petition filed by Jamie and Matthew McLeod, owners of the property located at 14 Tutor Road, Nahant, Massachusetts. The petitioners seek a Special Permit or a Variance to construct a Pergola over a firepit. The Office of the Building Inspector denied a building permit on August 14, 2024, where the proposed location would be in violation of Section 5.03 of the Zoning By-laws of the Town of Nahant, where the proposed Pergola would be located at 5’and the Rear Setback is 20.’
3:30 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING on the petition filed by Sean and Luz Quirk, owners of the property located at 36 Pearl Road, Nahant, Massachusetts. The petitioners seek a Special Permit or a Variance to construct a 24’ x 24’ garage to be attached to their existing home. The Office of the Building Inspector denied a building permit on September 26, 2024, where the proposed location would be in violation of Section 5.03 of the Zoning By-laws of the Town of Nahant, where the proposed garage would be located at 15.2’and the Front Setback is 25.’
