a. Winter Parking Ban – in effect until March 20, 2026 from 12AM-6AM. No vehicles can be parked on the street during that time. If you need a winter parking pass please contact the Nahant Police Department
b. Annual Christmas Tree Bonfire – Friday January 9th at 7:00pm at Baileys Hill – Trees will be picked up curbside by the DPW prior to the Bonfire. Remove all lights, tinsels, decorations, tree stands etc.
c. Town Hall will be closed on Monday January 19, 2026 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
d. Citizens Petition for Town Meeting: The deadline to add a Citizen Petition article to the Town Meeting Warrant is January 31, 2026. For more information on how to submit a petition as a resident or a committee visit the town meeting page at nahant.org
