Just some of the joys of living in Nahant…aerobics, dance and yoga…beaches, boating baseball, basketball, biking, birding and bingo… golfing… fishing… music and more… parks, playgrounds, paddle and other pastimes… running, walking and strolling on a summers night… sun, sand, sailing, softball, soccer and swimming… tennis anyone?

Nahant Thicket Wildlife Sanctuary | Update 2018

Mass Audubon is preparing to conduct restoration work at Nahant Thicket Wildlife Sanctuary.

Restoration efforts will focus on three major goals:

  1. Managing vegetation to enhance wildlife habitat and the visual appeal of the outer boundaries of the thicket;
  2. Addressing hydrological constraints that may contribute to localized flooding; and
  3. Improving the visitor experience through improved parking, signage, and trails. For more information please read our restoration plan.
