Nahant Farmers Market October 9, 2021 at Flash Road Park
NAHANT – The Town of Nahant will be hosting a farmers market on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Flash Road Park. We are looking for craft and food vendors to participate. There is room for about 40 vendors. Each vendor has a 10 square foot area where they can bring their own table and tent if desired. This will be a family friendly event with a corn maze, a bouncy house, entertainment and more. If you would like to participate as a vendor in this event, please fill out the vendor application forms below and send them to ktaylor@nahant.org or drop the forms off at the Nahant Town Hall by Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 4:00 PM.
The Town of Nahant would like to host a farmers market on a regular basis beginning next spring/summer season. This event on October 9, 2021 will allow us to experience hosting for the first time and provide us with insight for improvement prior to next year. The goal of the Town is to provide a community event that supports our local artists and businesses while bringing residents together. We look forward to working with local groups and non-profits on ideas of how to make each farmers market unique with different programing. October 9th will be an autumn themed event and will hopefully help kick start the holiday shopping season.
We would like to thank Oceanview for generously donating the corn maze and bouncy house. We would also like to thank all the volunteers that responded to our survey and our summer intern Oliva Cooke, for spearheading this effort.
