Logan Airport Noise Complaints
There are several options for registering a noise disturbance related to Logan Airport overflight noise. Below you will find a step by step guide and information on how to report noise complaints. When a complaint is reported, the date and time are researched and a response is typically generated within three to four weeks. The report will normally include detailed available information (e.g. aircraft operations, altitude relative to complainant’s address, meteorological information, runways in use and other available background information if appropriate) There are limits to the type of information that can be provided for non-Logan Flights, such as helicopters and small propeller aircraft.
Massport encourages you to use Flight Monitor before making a noise complaint. Flight monitor allows you to watch the time-delayed movement of aircraft within the Greater Boston area and from other airports that are in transit around the region.

After business hours and on weekends, leave a voicemail describing the incident, your name, address, and the time of when you experienced the aviation noise - FILE COMPLAINTS VIA MASSPORT’S SYMPHONY WEBSITE: www.massport.com
Visit www.massport.com and click on the “Community” tab and select “Noise Abatement” Scroll down to the “Boston Logan Airport Noise Complaints” section and click “form”. This takes you to the Complaint Log-in page. If you don’t have an account, follow the instructions to do so.

Go to www.airnoise.io. Follow the instructions to set up a free account. Link your Massport Symphony account to your AirNoise account. This a one-time step and ensures that AirNoise will automatically file your complaints to Massport. You can file up to 30 complaints per month total with a free AirNoise account.
