DESCRIPTION:The Annual HOOMPA Nickel Charity Road Race sponsored by the American Legion Post 215-Nahant. Every year the race benefits the American Legion Welfare Committee who’s mission is to support veterans and their families during illnesses or other special needs. This year’s race is dedicated to Nahant Resident and WWII Veteran Lt. Col. Ken Gavin.  \n\n\n\nThe HOOMPA Nickel is a 5 Mile Road Race through the seaside community of Nahant (see route below).
